Melody Amber Davis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a passionate visual artist, nomadic community builder, lover of God and people!

In her Undergraduate studies she minored in Psychology, Sociology, English and Fine Art. She fell in love with painting and the classic art of Printmaking. Melody earned her Masters Degree in Pastoral Studies with an emphasis in Leadership & Development from Azusa Pacific University. 

In 2018 Melody moved from California to Kampala, Uganda, where she taught preschool at a Christian missionary-based school. She is also the Global Missions & Sponsorship Coordinator for Reach Up Reach Out Ministries, an organization that cares for orphaned children and widows in Uganda.

 In her free time you can find her exploring nature, pretending she’s a social media influencer or painting vibrant masterpieces!

 

  Melody paints African-American inspired pieces. She blogs about her favorite Bible stories, and all of the true, pure beauty created and captured through her explorations in California and abroad!
